Synopsis: Drew Lowery is living the American Dream. He has the perfect family, a stable job, and a beautiful home in the suburbs of central New Jersey. Things can’t get much better. But what seems like the ideal life is suddenly upended when he receives a blank envelope in the mail.
Inside lies a picture of his daughter, a photograph of her violent murder. Only it can’t be her. He just tucked her in and kissed her goodnight ten minutes ago. But the mysterious Polaroid is only the beginning.
There’s the van following his daughter to school. The man she sees outside her window late at night. The fact someone entered her room while the Lowerys slept peacefully.
Local authorities are clueless. No leads, no clues, and ultimately—no answers. Drew launches his own investigation, falling into a hole of lies and deceit, a truth he never saw coming. Dead Daughters is the new twisted thriller from Tim Meyer, author of The Switch House and Kill Hill Carnage.

I stumbled across Tim Meyer a few years back when I read Kill Hill Carnage. That book was all it took to get me hooked on what Tim Meyer was throwing down. I loved the horror then and loved it again here in Dead Daughters. The story quickly put me on a roller coaster ride of psychological horror. The tension is non-stop and had me on the edge of my seat. In the first chapter Drew finds a picture of his daughter dead. But his daughter is asleep upstairs. What the hell, how was that picture taken, and by who?
Okay, now we have a great mystery staring us in the face. I love the creativeness Tim Meyer lays out. We get secret science experiments. Research projects that are mind bending, and damn creative. In addition, we get great characters that wrestle with their moral code and ethics. The chapters fly by as Drew tries to hold onto his sanity and protect his family. I couldn’t wait to see what came next and loved this ride until the final sentence. Dead Daughters will grab your attention and hold it tight, it’s a book you won’t put down.
