Socks is every kids nightmare all rolled up in one terrible tale. Being 10 years old and all the things that scare you in your dark bedroom come rushing back, the things that you’ve long forgotten. This is a quick story with plenty of punch. Adam Ickes does it again with his vivid descriptions of a dark child’s room. It’s a great little tale that’s very well told.
